Starting Seeds on a Budget.

Here are some tips for starting seeds indoors. These tips are items you probably have  laying around your home right now.

It is seed starting time, this is when you can start your seeds indoors about 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost in your area.  This is some thing I have been doing for more than 10 years now, and I love it.

• Use leftover plastic garden containers you previously bought flowers or vegetables in. Or you can save yours from this upcoming season to start seeds in. you can also get it from your garden center, all you have to do is ask and some garden centers will give you.
• yogurt containers are great for starting seeds, all you have to do is make a few holes at the bottom of the container for drainage.
• Solo Cups if you have parties/BBQ and other events that you use plastic or paper cups, you can use those cups to start seeds,  all you have to do is make a few holes at the bottom of the container for drainage and fill the container with seed starting mix before planting your seeds.
• Egg cartons are a great way to start seeds indoors, just remember to make a few holes at the bottom of the egg carton for drainage.
